Design Inspiration

XALITLA

Design inspired by the lovers of Xalitla, Guerrero. In each of the towns of Mexico, the festivities come to life with music, cockfights, dances, flowers or animals, but in Xalitla the entire town is transmuted and reflected in the amate, the ink is filled with syncretism and invades empty spaces to form silhouettes that dance to the rhythm of the music. The art for the realization of this piece was made by the artisan J. Guadalupe Pérez A.
