Cempasúchil flowers with orange petals, sugar skulls during and the delicious bread of the dead are part of the decorations that frame the ofrendas placed each November during the Day of the Dead celebrations in Mexico. Fruit of the fusion of pre-Hispanic heritage with Catholic beliefs, it is a date to pray and at the same time celebrate the memory of the ancestors who have left this world.
