TENOCHTITLAN

Floating and sacred city that expressed the cosmovision of the Aztec people and their remarkable knowledge of astrology through their temples. Its canals, aqueducts and agricultural system of chinampas were part of its great hydraulic works that, together with the magnificence of its temples and the beauty of the landscape, distinguished it as one of the most important and imposing metropolises of its time. This design represents an optical illusion of Tenochtitlan seen from the heavens.
