Design Inspiration

SUN STONE

Legend has it that, at the beginning of time, the gods created the sun Tonatiuh and placed it with the minor stars, thus beginning the universe. Tonatiuh entered the Mictlan, place of the dead, to give light to the souls; later, he returned to heaven with the help of Xolotl. This myth was captured by the Mexicas in the Stone of the Sun, where Tonatiuh's face can be seen with his tongue sticking out, since to continue giving birth he needed sacrifices, always thirsty for blood.
