Inspired by the Otomi people, whose legacy endures in the states of Queretaro, Mexico, Hidalgo, Guanajuato, and Puebla, where they have settled throughout the centuries. Through colorful threads such as cotton, silk, wool and ixtle (fiber from the maguey plant), figures such as flowers, animals, stars, or geometric shapes come alive in the hands of the Otomi women, who formerly offered their work to guardian deities and today keep weaving stories to captivate the eyes.
