Design Inspiration

GOLDEN EAGLE

Majestic, it dominates the vast mountains and meadows over which it spreads its wings. National symbol that dates back to the legend of the founding of Mexico-Tenochtitlan, where the eagle perched on a nopal devours a snake. For the Aztecs, the eagle is the disguise of the sun, "a star that gives life and dispenses light." When taking flight, its outstretched wings symbolize a cross that delimits the four cosmic directions and constitutes by itself the axis of the world.

In Mexico, the golden eagle lives mainly in the northern states.
